When I first started what would become Late Night Internet Marketing, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to write about. Over time, my focus evolved, but the core mission remained the same: helping aspiring entrepreneurs build successful online businesses.<\/p>\n
In the original version of this post from December 2007, I wrote something along the lines of: “I plan to write about the things that interest me, primarily internet marketing, making money online, and general thoughts on business and entrepreneurship.” That statement holds true today, nearly two decades later.<\/p>\n
Late Night IM has always been about practical strategies, real-world experience, and honest insights into what it takes to succeed online. While there are countless blogs and gurus out there, many lack transparency or push gimmicks that do not work. That is not what you will find here.<\/p>\n
I have never held myself out to be the ultimate expert in internet marketing. But I have learned a tremendous amount since 2007 through hands-on experimentation, and I continue to learn new things every day. My focus remains on things that actually work for part-time entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
One of the most effective ways to build online income is through affiliate marketing. It is something I have practiced for years, and I know both the struggles and the successes that come with it. From choosing the right affiliate programs to implementing SEO strategies that drive traffic, I share what works based on real experience.<\/p>\n
Traffic is the lifeblood of any online business. Without visitors, even the best product or content will not generate revenue. One of the things I learned early on is that it does no good to have an amazing website if no one ever comes to visit it. That lesson is as true in 2026 as it was in 2007.<\/p>\n
Making money online is great, but making money passively is even better. One of my biggest goals has always been to create income streams that work for me, even while I sleep. From email marketing sequences to evergreen content strategies, I am constantly testing ways to make online business more efficient and scalable.<\/p>\n
