Affiliate marketing has become more sophisticated.<\/strong> Modern affiliate content focuses on genuine product reviews, detailed comparisons, and buyer guides that serve search intent. Google's Product Reviews Update specifically rewards content that demonstrates actual product experience over generic summaries.<\/p>\n

    The advice from 2009 still stands: know your numbers and test. But do not be afraid to commit to one approach and do it well rather than splitting your efforts across both.<\/p>\n
