Great video!  Totally agree with your mindset.  Set realistic longterm goals and work backwards from there.  Having goals is a great way to keep your motivated as that’s something that a lot of internet marketers struggle with – finding the motivation to continue when you’re making pennies (if that) each day.  But if you keep working hard (and smart) enough your efforts will eventually pay off and you will be able to do nice things like go to Hawaii using your IM money 🙂

I agree — key is to start with small goals (first visitor, first sale, first $100 month, first $100 week, etc.)….

I, too, am in Hawaii this week (Kauai, on vacation). I love breaking larger numbers down into smaller pieces. I think many people get hung up on thinking they need to create a full time income online and lose focus that every sale counts and even earning just $2000 dollars a year may translate into something they would not have had before (extra house payment, smaller “close to home” vacation, new electronic toys)… Hope you’re having fun as well while working.
