I’m thinking 98+% of that is ad revenue, so, in some regards, it seems short-sighted for them to “not care” about a big chunk of their revenue producers (content providers).   If they paid out $1.0B a year to content providers, and I would be shocked if they pay out 20% of that ($200M annually) – their end of the process would still be sweet. 
 
I still wonder if it simply is not G attempting to make strides to keep the top 1% of their revenue producers (big corporation advertisers) happy.  Does anyone know if their revenues are broken down by size?  i.e. – how much do the top 5% of Google advertisers spend – is it $20B  annually or is it $20M, or somewhere in between?
