I didn’t even write what my ebook is about!
The title is “How to Lose Weight and Keep it Off” and it is filled with tips about how I got my weight down to ideal weight.
I feel good, I look good, I’d love to help others achieve the same!

I published my first (and only) ebook on Lulu http://www.lulu.com/content/4297381 with unsatisfying results.
I love writing, I still have a lot to learn about marketing!

Nice ecover too.
I just might have to get my hands on that one, considering it is just $7.

and I agree that the email list is more valuable in the long run, especially if you plan to write a bunch of reports in the same vein as the original. (in my real world business, my customer list is worth more than the revenue those customers generate in a year)

What I am waiting to do now is budget in an AWEBER monthly account and then get started.

Thanks for the book choice

In fact, I just out up a sales page using it last week, but I have not started promoting it yet as I am still tweaking the sales page. You can sneak a peek here: FirstEbookNow.com

It is a good strategy that you propose. However, the big thing that you will have in the end is a great email list, which will be much more valuable to you than the affiliate links in the eBooks.

Thanks!
Mark

have you used the $7 script?
I am looking into using it as a newb like me can install and configure fairly easily. Plus, the script links directly to your PayPal account.
My thought is to write 30-40 page “reports” and sell them for $7 each and load em’ with relevent affiliate links.
AL
PS–I appreciate the PLR links. I am always looking for fresh stuff to purchase and re-write and spin around.

Reusing content like that is a GREAT strategy. Consider adding an audio version of the same content as a bonus.

@Shane — Going great. Good to hear from you. LOL — I agree, people should definately use software to write their eBooks. Writing a PDF file directly from scratch using binary code is not recommended. Thank for pointing out the oversight.

Regarding the themes, things are going really well. Look for an update post soon. Version 2.0 of the themes is coming out in early October.

Podcast is on hold due to other priorities. But seriously, what would you want to hear on the MasonWorld Internet Marketing Podcast?

Thats a huge to do list, LOL you forget to mention that someone would or might need a wordprocessor and adobe to actually create the e-book 😛
I havent ever hired out my product creation, but would like to hear from anyone who has. You know quality and all that.
Similar to jarret, I have loads of mini series that I was considering turning and churning out into pdf format.

I just got done with a mini-series over on my blog post and was wanting to take it a step further and turn it into a full blown ebook. So this checklist came at the perfect time as I plan to start on the ebook in the next few days.
